Monet & Friends
In the late 19th century, a group of young painters left their studios and captured what they saw outdoors: shimmering light, moving water, the life of the modern city. ‘Monet & Friends – The Impressionists’ tells the story of this revolution – not through a single artist but through the entire movement, from Claude Monet and Berthe Morisot to Renoir, Degas and Cézanne, all the way to Van Gogh and Toulouse-Lautrec.
More than a thousand works unfold across walls and floor in room-filling projections, carried by music. Replicas bring every brushstroke within reach, while interactive stations explain painting technique and colour mixing. No prior knowledge required – just a love of looking.
